Question: How do I wire my breaker to get 240v? What wires go where? What kind of breaker do I add? I have a 16 amp compressor that is 240V next to my box. I was going to run 12/3 rumex cable from my electric breaker box to the compressor. How do I get 240V. I know the basic idea, but I do not know for sure what kind of breaker to put in and what wire goes where on the breaker.
My 12/3 is plus ground. I have a double pole breaker but it's the size of one breaker so it only has one input. Do I need a side by side so I get two inputs?
Answer: Get a double pole breaker, so you pull power from both of your 120V legs coming in.
And your wire - Do you mean 12/3 plus ground? Cause for 240V you have (2) hots, (1) neutral, and (1) ground.
12 gauge, 240V will support up to a 60 amp load, though with that kinda of power, I'd be using 8 or 10.
You need a double-sized breaker that has two sets of contacts on the back (the part that actually connects to the power backplane in your elec box).
I need to agree with the other answerer - if you don't understand 150% what you're doing, don't do it. The amount of power inside your panel can kill you in an instant, or cause one hell of a fire/explosion if you wire incorrectly!

Answer: Considering the state of the world I think you should just use "podices".
Question: I keep finding strange messages written all over my body! What is going on?!?!? I seriously keep finding these strange messages written on my body....sometimes in other languages (usually Latin or Italian) but most of them are in English. They appear as a sort of reddish thin line, that I suppose could be blood, as in that they may be written in blood just underneath my skin....but this is just an assumption, since I cannot seem to wash off the messages, and they just appear and dissapear at random. The two most Recent messages I have found are ::: rumex! Didn't vilis scribo totus super vos! Meus mendum! Rumex iterum!:: which is Latin I think....and the next one is definitally Italian..::Perché continu aare leggere questi messaggi?::
What is going on?!?! Does anyone have any Idea??? Im clueless!!! Can anyone translate the messages?!?!
Answer: Since you didn't give any rough translations of what you thought the Latin or Italian was, I'm guessing you didn't take any language classes in either?
I took Latin for 6 years, and I had trouble translating this, but I've figured that it roughly means "Sorry! I didn't mean to write on you all over! My mistake! Sorry again!" and the Italian means "Why keep reading these posts?" according to Google Translate.
I don't think I've ever heard of a case where whatever is causing these words to show up on you is writing apologetically. Is it always talking like that? I'm not sure what it is (because a part of me is feeling a little skeptical about it, considering the the Italian translation and that it makes no sense). If there's a way to show us what you're talking about, that would be greatly appreciated.
It is interesting though. And if you're being serious about this, and it's not hurting at all, then I'd say whatever it is isn't trying to hurt you, but it is trying to find a way to communicate and it's having a hard time of it.
Question: who can make up a national anthem for me??? hey, i need someone to make up a national anthem for a project on creating your own country. The country is 'Rumex', it is known for peace throughout the whole country and unity. On the flag theres a sun on one half and a moon on the other and a peace sign in the middle. The sun and moon represents that they fouht every hour of the day to get their independence. In the peace sign, on one of the openings is ten read stripes for ten bloody years of war. In the right opening is a yellow background with pink hearts for love and happiness. And in the bottom opening theres two hands shaking to represent unity. Its called Rumex because Russia found the land first and then the mexicans came along and wanted to own the land. So they fought for it and then realized it was a waste of time, so they owned the land together, to form unity. Umm i hope thats enough info, and i hope someone can make one up for me. Please help me, thanks! :)
Answer: You pretty much have it right there.
A song is poetry ... so try and make it into a poem. If you can, set it to music that you already know.
This site will help on that:

Remember, if you use something WE write, that cheating at best, plagiarism at worst.
Good luck -- you can do this yourself!
