James' Tea

Question: I know this question has been asked, but what do you think James Potter's Patronus was? Yes, we "know" Lily's was a doe, although that is not fully explained. It is only stated by Harry in the last pages of book seven. We have no other proof of this. We do know Snape's was a doe, and somehow this represents his love for Lily. We also know that James' Animagus form was a stag, but we have no way of knowing his Patronus (assuming that Patronus and Animagus forms are different). What do you think it was? I'm remembering something vaguely about a "nose biting tea cup" but I'm not truly saying it was. Actually, I think since he was so stuck on the concept of bravery that it was a lion, or a gryffin.

Answer: Wasn't it mentioned in Book 3 that his patronus is a stag as well?
