Answer: fu = the character 褔 represents "good fortune", "blessings", "Luck" shou = the character 壽 means "longevity", the desire for long life. xi = the character � - double happiness - is synonymous with the celebration of marriage. Consequently, it is related to the wish for fertility, and is often seen at the wedding banquets. Qi Ling = 麒麟 is a kind of mythological animal that has 2 horns, a horselike body with scales and 4 legs, they look like Dragons and have a few different colours too. They symbolise purity, innocence, truth and justice. Chinese usually buy these various kinds of pendants (made of prue gold or jade) as gifts to the new borns or new wedded couples or for may other occassions as blessing or wishing the receivers to be lucky, happy in the future.

Question: Chinese Kung-Fu Drama? are there any other chinese drama's similar to the "Return of the Condor Heroes 2006" -old time type with like....wu ling stuff and the different kung fu tribes -good kung fu (not the crappy type) -good ending (main characters dont die in the very end..or at all) -good quality (up-to-date. not the very very old versions with crap quality) i've watched many good ones already and since it's summer time i decided to start watching more, i rented a lot of them but i'm tired of watching these dramas with horrible endings and i want to find a good one to watch any suggestions?

Answer: Um... There a few that I watched that are really good are "The Legend of Condor Heroes" 2003, a China production starring Li YaPeng. Another one that caught my attention is Crouching Tigers Hidden Dragons series. Now this is the series I've been looking for as well. Mayb u've seen the movie, but if u have this one, try not to watch it to compare with the movie. Instead watch with a starter feeling. U'll love it. I think the SiuLong character in the series is more complex than the movie's.

Question: Who is glad that Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood was made? (only for manga readers)? Just to let you know, Fullmetal Alchemist is my FAVORITE MANGA EVER!!! I've been reading it for 4 or 5 years now. I read the manga first then I decided to try the anime, THE ANIME SUCKED!! It's like an alternate universe of the manga. The main plot of the anime is totally different. There are even characters that didn't exist in the manga. I mean why wasn't FATHER in there? And who is that old lady? Also, they said Envy was Edwards and Al's brother that Hoenheim had with a different lady before they were born. In the anime they claimed Homonuculus are made from Humans. But we all know that is not true. So I decided to critisize the anime for the rest of my life. Then I heard they were making a second FMA anime. First I thought it was going to be a continuation of the first, but how could they? Ed an Al ended up in Germany at the end of the series, (don't ask me why) Then found out that they were going to start over from scratch. You should have seen me jump out of my seat when I found that out. I was so excited to see the new anime. I was a little disappointed that the first episode had nothing to do with the manga at all. Something about an ice alchemist?? Oh well, you can basically count the 2nd episode as the first. The first episode is not needed. But I can forgive it since the rest of the series follows the manga. Sure it cuts out parts and changes the way things happen but what do you expect out of an anime? At least it is not as horrible as the first version. I almost cried when I saw ling, ranfan, and fu, even xiao may. They didn't even show up in the previous anime. I kept shouting "LING, LING, OMG IT'S LIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!" when I saw him on the screen. Anyways, I'm done ranting. Who else in here absolutly HATED the first anime, and is glad for the remake!?!?!

Answer: I liked the first anime, but I saw it before I read the manga. I like the manga much better, and while I'm not completely caught up with Brotherhood, I'm loving it so far. VERY glad that they decided to make it!

Answer: Your letter will go in China to a translation station in the post office and that address will get rewritten in Chinese Characters for the route man. If you can have your Chinese correspondent send you his/her address in Chinese Characters by email, then photocopy it and paste it beside the address you've written which will be used by the local postoffice to get it out of the country. That'll save the translation time.

Question: Return of the Condor Heroes? If Xiao Long Nu's master was like one of most skilled martial artists, then how come Xiao Ling Nu's kung fu doesnt seem really that powerful.

Question: is your family ready to defend you in a fight? because last night my mom picked me up from my aunts house and unknowingly scratched this guys bumper. he was with his gf who is my age. his car was scratched up already. ling story short, he was a psycho and she was an idiot. i get my aunt to come out, then i asked my female cousin and then she asks my male cousin to come out. well, let me tell you, my family is fu*kin fearless! lol. i thought my oldest cousin was going to kill someone when he came out. have you ever been in this kind of experience? explain. im not blaming the guy for being upset over a scratched bumper, but you dont know the details. he overreacted and his family is know for being crazy. no, we do not run away from accidents. also, insurance can cover it, but they wanted 500 dollars for it. he also accused of of doing more damage when it was obvious my mother had not done it. let me clarify even more. they were parked feet away from the car and accused us of thinking we thought we are better than them because we have money which is because we live in a house. these are not intelligent people. they are crooks. i mean feet away from the curb
