Australian Tea Tree Oil
Question: how do i use "100% pure australian tea tree oil" for dandruff.? I just got starter dreadlocks about 2 weeks ago so i can't wash my hair, can i apply it directly to my scalp, how do i do it?
Answer: I mix it w/ shampoo
Question: How do i apply tea tree oil? I have moderate acne on my face and I need to know if I need a toner with the oil I have moderate acne on my face and I bought 100% Australian tea tree oil. So, I was just wondering if i apply the oil overnight and leave it or do I need to put on a toner or something before I apply? Please help, I need answers fast.
Answer: Use a cotton ball, and put a bit of the oil onto it. Only put it on your acne spots, and then you can just leave it on.
Question: how long does tea tree oil make your skin tingle? i have a vaginal yeast infection diagnosed by a dr and i applied organic 100% grade australian tea tree oil diluted with witch hazel (it says to do so on the bottle) and applied it to my vulva, well it stopped the itching for the most part (i feel like it itches up there but im too sore to apply it over there) i read that tea tree oil is a natural antifungal. i feel great! the tingle however is a bit overwelming and strange. how long does the tingle last?
Answer: a few hours
Question: How to use tea tree oil? I have oily skin with mild acne. (moslty blackheads and small bumps) ive heard it help control oily skin and acne. should i mix it in with my moisturizer? is 100% natural australian tea tree oil. or should i apply it like a toner all over my face? or just on spot? help me im confused!
oops wrong section.. sorry :P
Answer: Do not apply it all over or mix with your moisturizer. Tea tree oil is very strong. So you should only apply it directly to those small bumps, white heads, ect. sparingly with a q-tip. I use tea tree oil and I swear by it, but I'm going to let you know right now that I don't believe it helps with blackheads. Save it for those bumps ect. Good luck.
Question: 100% australian tea tree oil - will it clear my pimples when applied dirctly?
Answer: No it won't clear them all away. Tea tree oil is a good antiseptic, but pimples are formed beneath the skin by bacteria. Tea tree oil is good to help if they are just beginning to form, and to use after one drains, but it's not magic and won't make a particularly nasty one just disappear overnight. You do best to use plain soap and water, and apply the tea tree oil directly to spots before you go to bed at night. It has a slight odor to it that some folks don't care for, but it will fade away while you sleep. It helps promote healing, and it can sometimes prevent a nasty one from forming if applied early- but it won't keep them all away. My teens use it this way, and it does really help.
Question: What type of tea tree oil can I use for piercings????? I went to GNC and Got a 100% australian tea tree oil. It is just tea tree oil no ingredients are added to it. If this is good should I just directly put it on the bump with a cotton swab????? Thanks
Answer: ugh i need to know this exact question
all i know is you have to dilute it or it can irritate the piercing
Question: australian tea tree oil? I've heard that this can be used for allergy relief. has anyone tried it? does it work?
Answer: Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternafolia) will help with sinus congestion and infections but for allergies look into Grape seed extract the way to take it is start with 2mg per pound of body weight to start with, how fast it works depends on how much your body needs to strengthen the mast cells among the many other benefits it brings. You may need to increase the dose to reach your saturation level do not worry you can't take to much. When you get the desired results you start lowering the dose till the symptoms start to reoccur when this happens just increase the dose a little and that is your maintenance level. It will amaze you what other benefits you will get with this supplement also.
Question: Tea Tree Oil and Acne? 10 points??? I have heard tea tree oil works wonders on acne
And I found a little bottle of "100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil" in my house
I have some pimples on my face, so what would be the proper way to use this oil? And how often do I use it?
thanks for your time =]
Answer: I use a Q-Tip and put the Tea Tree Oil on undiluted for acne and small cuts and scrapes and insect bites. It also works wonders on nail fungus.
For your face, once or twice a day works for me. It does have quite a strong odor at first but it fades fairly quickly so that you don't smell like turpentine all day.

if you really want to get rid of warts forever then you should know that you can remove warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or with cream but warts can reappear again and again because warts appears when your immune system is weak! so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities!
(No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda's. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables. Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk - then - do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night's rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea.)
HPV is the virus that causes warts. And HPV virus has many strains. In your case you have HPV virus strain number 2. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It depends on the infected person's immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
also you must use herbal treatment because you can not always live 100% healthy...!!!
in that case Wartrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! it says that it is designed for Genital Warts but
it does not matter because warts are warts and wartrol works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly).
It worked very fast and still works for me because I do not have wart outbreaks anymore!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=221781
The advantage of Wartrol over other natural treatments for warts is that, since it is taken orally, it can also act on invisible warts that can't be treated by other creams and natural remedies.
good luck!

Question: Nose piercing bump. Tea tree oil? I had my nose pierced on the 30th July this year. I had a silver labret stud in it until I started back school. Then I switched to a clear labret stud. I don't have a ball on the end of mine so to keep it in I just push the back from the inside or pull the pole on it. I had a lump on the piercing since I had it pierced, and I've let it heal up and re pierced it a few times, and because I changed it before It healed. I know that's also why it may not have gone. I just bought some pure Australian tea tree oil. Some people are saying it works and some say it doesn't. Now do you think that It would be okay if I put a small amount on a cotton bud and just gently put it on the lump once in the morning and once at night? Thankie
Answer: Maybe this will help!

Question: Tea Tree oil for acne? Ok so I was told to get Tea Tree Oil as a ointment for acne.. Well I wasn't aware I was supposed to dilute it.. So I put it on a cotton swab and put it directly on my face..
I let it dry, wasn't told to wash it off after 15 mins or so either.. Should I be worried..?
It is 100% Pure Australian Oil according to the bottle. Also pharmaceutical grade is what it says.
"Pharmaceutical grade Tea Tree Oil, 100% pure australian oil)
Answer: Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.
Question: For Australians, tell me all about, Tea Tree Oil? It's a mirical worker on head lice, and skin refreshing, bites, skin irritations.
Will it kill and repell cockroaches and fleas well ?In our carpets, sofa, etc.
Give me a good, Tea Tree Oil cocktail mix for these pests.
They are especially bad here in, Florida this year.. I think it's because our weather is so crazy the last 4 and now 5 years, dry,(for us it is anyway), more then 4 monthes of not much rain, and then a river, of course it's summer here, our rainy season, hurricane season as well..
Can this oil be put on cats saftly ?
Maybe like a spritz spray ?
I couldn't be any worse then the flea treatments we have on our pet shelves, says right on the lable, "hazardus to domestic animals", cats clean them selves, lick their fur, this can't be too cool when flea powders are used, the instructions say work it between their toes,(paws).
You have any secret formulas I can use for them ?
I would sure be grateful.
Thanks..
This is Florida, so we have all kinds.
Answer: I know tea tree oil is a good antibacterial, I have only used it for pimples and in the kids humidifiers at night, never before on my pets. But I would just add it to a spritz like you said. Do a google search you are bound to find some natural recipes for using it.
Question: Does tea tree oil really help to reduce acne? I heard essential oils such as Tea tree oil can help reduce acne prone skin from reoccuring. I know the australians consider this to be their miracle product, b/c it treats almost every skin problem you can think of, is this really true?
Answer: I guess it depends on you, it may work for some people and make things worse for others.
Question: Question about Tea Tree Oil....? Today I bought Australian Body Care Pure Tea Tree Oil for my red spots where my acne used to be, black and white heads.
I'd like to know how long does it take for them to cure?
Should I use it twice and day or once only?
Should I put few drops on my moisteriser or should I use few drops directly on my face?
Answer: put it on a cotton ball. put it on 2 times a day and it will be gone in 1-2 days. i love tea tree oil. its amazing
Question: Tea Tree Oil as a first aid disinfectant...? How effective is tea tree oil for disinfecting wounds? I know the Australian troops use to cary it but is good enough to treat and disinfect wounds that you'd want it in your first-aid kit instead of anti-biotic ointment or iodine?
Answer: Well I found a new use for my food supplement fresh royal jelly, it has a very low pH and kills even gram negative bacteria. My husband had an accident while fixing the lawnmower, he cut his finger to the nerve and a chunk fell out, we live in a very rural area, so I had read up on it, I cleaned the finger pured fresh royal jelly wrapped it up and took him to the emergency room. To everyone's surprise new skin had begun to form and the doctor could not believe how in 1 week his finger healed and there was not dent where he had lost the chunk.
Then my brother in law was burning a brush pile with paint thinner, and caught his leg on fire, he was rushed to the ER and told he had 3rd degree burns, I knew it would hurt and sting but told him about the royal jelly and sure enough he began to apply it to his leg . HIS DOCTOR was totally FLOORED he grew new skin and now after 2 weeks there is no scar at all. So that is my story all. Hope it helps.
Question: How often should I give my dog a bath? She is an australian cattle dog so short hair but thick undercoat. Summer is coming here in Australia and in the winter I used to bath her once a month but I was wondering if I could do it more often now. I use a special australian tea tree oil soap free shampoo which naturally soothes the skin. Is that OK? She live mainly indoors but is outdoors some hours of the day too.
Answer: I have been trained as a Veterinary Nurse and I too am in Australia. May I also add, love Australian Cattle Dogs! She only needs to be washed once every six weeks with a suitable dog shampoo. The one you are currently using sounds fine. There is an Oatmeal based shampoo also available from most veterinary clinics and pet stores that is great for all dogs skin types. I would also suggest that you buy both a fine toothed comb and a 'Zoom Groom' (special rubber brush) and brush her at least once a week to remove some of the undercoat that will start shedding shortly.

Question: Is there any cure to Back acne and marks in teens? Hey, I am not normally the person to talk about my problems, but I feel that I have exhausted all options. I have had bad Back acne for 3 years now and I am now 17. After 3 years of Back acne there are extremely noticeable marks on my body from it as well.
I have hidden it until now, which has been a difficult task, as I played Australian football for 2 years, and decided to quit because of this. As a combo I also have Dermatagraphia (skin Writing Disease)which I have also hidden from everyone even my parents until now. I am unable to go to my parents about because they haven’t had anything like this, and I’ll feel bad because they won’t know what to do, it will feel like I have let them down too, to say that something like this makes me so weak.
I have used almost all commercial products for my back, and have found little to no results in any. I also read about the vinegar and tea tree oil method, but it seemed to only anger my back..I am a clean person and shower twice a day, making sure my back is cleaned well. For my scars I have used, Aloe Vera, Bio Oil, Vitamin E creams, etc..
I herd that people have found a quick but risky cure, by getting a really heavy sun burn on their affected areas and letting the skin peal apparently leaving smooth mark free skin, not sure how successful this is though.
If you have made it this far in my questions thank you, my main reason for asking this, is that my girlfriend is thinking about trying some new things, and I don’t feel as though I am good enough for her because of this.. I know this sounds pathetic.
If anyone has any idea of how I can remove these scars and present back acne please share if possible.
Thank you.

Answer: If you put on too much, a high quantity of tea tree oil or another strong ingredient could have dried out your skin. Even though the ingredients are natural, it's also possible that you could be allergic something.
Stop using it for a few days, and be sure to drink water to clear up your skin. If it doesn't go away, you should see a doctor.
